Down with Con Art
Bring Back Real Art

Other ages had Rembrandt and Vermeer, Turner and Constable, Picasso and Matisse.  Why do we have to make do with a stack of bricks, a pickled shark and a filthy bed?

The people who put found objects in galleries, like Duchamp and Beuys, Hirst and Emin and all those who make casts of found objects, like Warhol and Koons, Gormley and Ai Weiwei aren’t artists.  Art has to be created. You have to be able to see art.  These emperors’ clothes only exist in people’s minds. In reality they’ve got nothing on.  This pretentious, intellectual art of today is known as Conceptual Art.

I call it Con Art for short – because it cons people.

Real art is the expression of elusive feelings and thoughts that can’t be communicated by any other means. When these feelings and thoughts are profound, we are drawn to look at this work of art again and again and again. The search is on to find the real art of our times, and among it all will be some works of art that resonate with greatness.
